Who is more racist, conservs or libs?

Laws, by their very nature, generalize a group of individuals. They are no longer Charlie or Bob in the eyes of the law, they are "black". Or, "hispanic", or whatever. They have lost their individuality. To then give preferential treatment to one of these groups based on nothing but their minority status is, by definition, racist. The ability of the individual is marginalized while their minority status becomes a qualifying aspect of who they are. Most liberal laws regarding race are of this type. They claim that an individual cannot achieve success on his or her own merits, but rather their inclusion in a minority group makes them deserving of preferential treatment. Conservatives, meanwhile, are truly color blind. It's not the color of the skin that matters, it's the ability to do the job. It is sickening that we haven't moved past this. But "progressives" just can't seem to move on.
