My facebook is messng up bad?

Hey, I log on to facebook and its not showing that i am online!! i dont get it. ive checked my settings, iv restarted firefox, my computer! And when i do talk my friends arent getting the IMS. it dosent even show that i am online. Is this an error with facebook or is it my fault??
