How do I know when I should take my cat to the vet?

Cats don't convey how much pain they are in, so even tho your cat "seems" fine, she REALLY needs to see a vet, she could have internal bleeding, her tooth could abscess, any number of things. If you were hit by a car, would you go inside and just relax, or would you go get checked out?
